Are p, q and r all positive?
(1) p + q + r is positive. It's definitely possible for all three to be positive but it's also possible if say p is large enough positive number (10, for example) and q and r are some negative numbers (-1 and -2, for example). Not sufficient.
(2) p*q*r is positive. This implies that either all three are positive or one of them is positive and the remaining two are negative numbers. Not sufficient.
