Rephrase: -3x^3 + 3 < 0 ?
-3 (x^3 - 3) <0
The question boils down to is x^3 >3??
St 1: -3x - 3<0
-3 (x+1) <0
Tells that x > -1.
So if x = -0.5 ans to our question is NO
If x=10, answer to the question is YES.
Insufficient.
Statement two tells that x is -ve, so x^3 is also -ve.
Answer to our question is NO.
Sufficient.
IMO Answer is B.
-3 (x^3 - 3) <0

rephrasing the question --> is \(x^3>1\)
1) x>-1; we have three possible cases: 1) x is a proper negative fraction -1<x<0; 2) x is zero; 3) x is greater than zero (proper fraction; improper fraction, irrational value; integer) Not sufficient.
2) x<0 Sufficient.
Answer B.
