K could be odd or even. Eg. 3,6,9

(1) K = 3M , K is even when M is even & K is odd when M is odd. NOT SUFFICIENT
(2) K = 6J => K=2*3J , For any value of 6J will always be divisible by 2, So K is even. SUFFICIENT.

Statement 1- for value of m (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8), k can be even or odd. insufficient
Statement 2- for value of J (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8), k will be only even. Answer is NO. so sufficient.
