The ratio of two quantities of boxes, a and b, is 4 to 5. If each of the quantities is increased, what is the new ratio?
(1) Quantities are only added 9 boxes at a time, 4 to quantity a and 5 to quantity b.
(2) Quantity b is increased by 5

Current a:b = 4:5
Statement 1 Quantities are only added 9 boxes at a time, 4 to quantity a and 5 to quantity b.
4:5 = 4x+4 : 5x+ 5= a':b'
a':b' = 4(x+1):5(x+1) = 4:5
The ratio will remain same.
Statement 2 Quantity b is increased by 5
as we don't know about the quantity A, not sufficient
