If a rectangle has length a and width b, what is its area?
(1) 2a = 15/b
(2) a = 2b - 2

since area of rectangle is a*b
so from 1 :
2a=15/b
a=15/2b
ab=7.5
sufficient
from2 : no info can determine a*b..

a = 2b - 2
(a+2)/2=b
so, we cannot evaluate answer from second option.
Hence, Answer is A.
