Dear Bunuel,
In my calculation the answer is D, but actual answer is B.
I will be glad if you help me to find out my mistake.
1/X > 1/(X+1)
or X < X+1
Statement 1. Let, X= -2, -3, -1/2 for all real numbers, X < X+1 is true.
Statement 2. Let, X=1/2,2,3,4 for all numbers, X < X+1 is true.
So answer is D.
Kindly help me to find out my mistake.

This is a poor quality question.
On the GMAT, two data sufficiency statements always provide TRUE information and these statements never contradict each other.
