(1) lm and mn have opposite signs.
--> \(lm*mn < 0\) (Since they have opposite signs)
--> \(l*n*m^2 < 0\)
So, one of 'l' or 'n' is negative and 'm' can be '±'
--> Nothing can be said about the signs of 'l*m' --> Insufficient
(2) Zero lies on the left of m on the number line above.
--> 'm' & 'n' are positive, but 'l' can be '±'
--> 'l*m' can be '±' --> Insufficient
Combining (1) & (2),
One of 'l' or 'n' is negative AND 'm' & 'n' are positive
--> 'l' has to be negative & 'm' is positive
So, 'l*m' is Definitely negative --> Sufficient
IMO Option C
