There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
A. When X is divided by 7 the remainder is 1 B. X is the median of all odd integers below 100

Statement 1 is not sufficient, since x can be 8 or 15.
Statement 2 doesn't make sense, since there is an infinite number of odd integers less than 100. If the Statement meant only the positive odd integers, then of course it's sufficient, since we know exactly what those integers are, and could calculate their median if we needed to. There's no reason to actually find that median on a DS question, but if we wanted to, then because the odd integers from 1 through 99 form an equally spaced list, the median will equal the average of the smallest and largest terms, which is 50.

Statement 1:
x = 8, 15, 22 ... then x doesn't have to be even so insufficient.
Statement 2:
The statement probably meant "positive odd integers". Thus we are including 1, 3, 5 ..., 97, 99. The set is fixed so the median X is fixed, sufficient.
Statement 1: When X is divided by 7 the remainder is 1 X can be {1,8,12,22,29...}. -can be even or odd NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2:X is the median of all odd integers below 100 Since the median of all odd integers below 100 (assuming positive only) is fixed, i.e. only one answer -we need not to determine the value, but we can determine if its odd or even. SUFFICIENT
CORRECT ANSWER: B
