If x and y are positive integers, is xy/(5×2) an integer?
(1) x = 3!
(2) y = 6!
(1) x = 3!
(2) y = 6!

Question is basically asking that - when xy is divided by 10 - is the quotient an integer?
1. if x = 3!
x = 3x2x1
substituing the value of x in xy gives us - 3 x 2 x y /10
Now xy/10 can be integer if y = 5 but it cannot be an integer if y doesn't have a 5. Since we don't know the value of y we can say that this statement is insufficient.
2. if y=6!
y defintely is 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1
in this case value of x doesn't matter as y is already divisible by 10. So xy/10 is an integer. Statement 2 is sufficient. Answer is B
