Given: M and N are positive integers
Target question: Is M divisible by N?
When I scan the two statements, they both feel insufficient, AND I’m pretty sure I can identify some cases with conflicting answers to the target question. So, I’m going to head straight to……
Statements 1 and 2 combined
There are several values of M and N that satisfy BOTH statements. Here are two:
Case a: M = 1 and N = 210. In this case, the answer to the target question is M is not divisible by N
Case b: M = 210 and N = 1. In this case, the answer to the target question is M is divisible by N
Since we can’t answer the target question with certainty, the combined statements are NOT SUFFICIENT
Answer: E

If M=3 and N=2, M is not divisible by N
If M=3 and N=1, M is divisible by N
Insufficient.
(2) Only
210 = 2*5*3*7
If M=10 and N=14, M is not divisible by N
If M=210 and N=1, M is divisible by N
