Taking the cube root of the above equation will give: \(3x - 2y = 0\)

Taking the square root of the above equation does not provide a concrete answer, as one cannot be certain whether \(x\) and \(y\) are positive or negative.
For instances plugging in \(x = 2\) and \(y = 3\) works for \(9x^2 - 4y^2 = 0\). Which then means that the statement \(3x - 2y = 0\) will hold true.
However, \(x = -2\) and \(y = -3\) too will hold for \(9x^2 - 4y^2 = 0\), but plugging those values into \(3x - 2y\) will give \(3(-2) - 2(-3) = -12\).
