What is the value of  \frac{a^2b}{c}  ?

(1)  a = \frac{1}{b}  and  c = \frac{1}{a}

(2)  b = c  and  a = 4c

Statement 1 Alone:

We can put all of this together with  b = \frac{1}{a} = c , thus we have  b = c . Then  \frac{a^2b}{c} = ab = 1 . Sufficient.

Statement 2 Alone:

Plugging in everything gives us  \frac{16c^2*c}{c} = 16c^2 . Insufficient.

(A^2*b)/c = (1/b)/(1/a) 
Insufficient 
Statement B alone 
(A^2*b)/c = 16c^2
Insufficient 
Combining both statements 
We get 
(1/b)/(1/a)
Substituting b with c from statement B and 1/a with c from statement A
We get
1/c*1/c 
Further 
 From statement A we get 
1/c =a 
Which becomes 
a/c 
Further from Statement B substitute a =4c 
Thus 4c /c 
Which is equal to 4
