If we can get overall total books and total spanish books we can do 1- p(2 spanish books ) = p( at least one english book)
Where p(2 Spanish books ) = Probability of selecting 2 Spanish books from total Books
(1) The ratio of Spanish books to English book is 3:1.
Total books could be 4 and spanish books 3
Total books could be 8 and spanish books 6
Total books could be 12 and spanish books 9
etc.
In each case we will get a different value for p(2 Spanish books)
INSUFF.
(2) There are less than 20 books on the shelf.
Clearly not suff. as we do not know total # of books or total # of Spanish books.
INSUFF.
