What is the value of z^2 − w^2 ?

What is the value of z^2 − w^2 ?
z^2 − w^2 = (z-w)(z+w)
(1) z + w = 2w + 3
=> z - w = 3. Insufficient to determine the value of z + w
(2) z − w = 3/(w + z)
=> (z-w)(z+w) = 3
Sufficient.
