I was recently in a debate with a very well respected moderator of the boards in a thread.
It turned out that the debate centered around the original question... it seemed that I read the question with a + sign in it, and the mod read the question with a - sign in it.
Once I had made my point as clearly as I could and pinpointed the source of the mod's error, the thread was locked... and when I went back to check, it turns out that there was a - sign in the question... but I had been 99% sure that the original question had a + sign in it. I figured that it had been a long day, and I had probably just made a careless mistake...
So I went back to my phone, which I had used to check the page earlier in the day, and wouldn't you know it but I still had an old, cached version of the page loaded up in my phone. The original question had had a + in it... although the question, when I refreshed it on my laptop, had a -.
if-ab-0-is-1-a-b-153911.html#p1234512But if you look at the link, and you look at the subject head that's in the top right of every post that comes
below my first post from my cellphone, you'll still see that the original post had a + in it.
Is it possible that my cellphone somehow pulled up an erroneous version of the page and then made the rest of page have the subject with that erroneous version in it?
This is very strange.... it's very weird if two different questions are showing up for the same thread depending on when I click on it. I've attached a screenshot of my phone's cached version of the page.
