Hi guys i am a student from india having previously done my engineering in 2011, preparing for the gmat and aiming for a high gmat score. I have been preparing for about 2 months now and i am doing ok in quant getting a score of about 45 which i want to push to 51 before my real test. However, i am quite weak in verbal although there seems to be no apparent problem in my english or understanding of it. I have noticed that to do well on the verbal section one requires a specific skill set and not just the understanding of the language. Now i have around 3 months to give my exam and i have quit my job to devote all my time to gmat. Can you guys suggest a good online program ? I heard egmat , gmat pill, magoosh and the economist are good but i am confused as to which one to opt for. Also i want a course which covers all areas of quant and verbal holistically. Waiting for a reply

Good that you are doing your research here --- I'd offer one other suggestion. You should split your needs into two buckets of activity.
Bucket 1 -- Strong score on quant.. looking to take it to high percentiles.
Bucket 2 -- Overall weakness on verbal.
You should talk to the folks at some of these companies (mine included) and figure out what they'd reco. You might be better off with more directed tutoring than a class. Just a thought.

Hi bryan thanks for replying. I have heard the manhattan verbal is really good but i have little idea of their online programs. I have already attended direct tutoring for verbal but i am looking for a course that strengthens my base and understanding of all the core concepts. Also i don't quite know the exact difference between an online tutoring course and an online course without tutoring which just pertains to practice and core material for individual study. Confused
