Hi, My GMAT score is 560. V-30 q-36 I had a 1 month preparation and was trying to aim more but my doubt is are there schools accepting scores of 560 in the u.s? Can anybody pls give me a list of schools accepting scores around 560?I have 2 yrs of work-ex. Please help me out.
There are some, but these will hardly enhance your CV/opportunities.
Put 4-6 months of study and retake, I assure you it will be worth it - I believe you will be able to improve your result with least 50-100 points and this will be enough to upgrade you to the 80% range (top 10% and bottom 10% removed) that schools widely cite (and care about) - this will hugely improve your chances...
Though gmat score is only a part of the entire application package, you need to get a min. Level to get thru the best schools,560 is not bad, depends on where you are, if you are working in US, applying for part-time, you may not have to reappear for gmat, but if you are applying for full time in top twenty schools, you need a min. of 650
