Anyone else out there with GMAT & Practice test scores fluctuating? What did you do to combat the inconsistency problem with verbal?

I have however realized my score depends mostly on how well I score in verbal. The math stays in the 46-49 range.

I'm at a loss:

KAP Diag.: 570

2 months of study

PP1: 700
KAP1: 620
KAP2: 640
PAPER TEST 14: 710

real GMAT: 640 .... ouch

1 month of study:

PP2: 740
KAP3: 670
PAPER TEST 37: 610 ?!?!
KAP4: 660
PAPER TEST 28: 700 ?!?!

You can understand my frustration here....

Any suggestions?
