hi guys,
i scored 540 in my first gmat attempt(v 28, q 36)...I took up the exam again on march 14th and scored 590(v 29, q 42).. I was very disappointed with my verbal score in my second attempt as it brought down my total... I have got a conditional offer from one of the universities asking me to score a minimum of 600 by mid may to be considered for selection...
I would be very happy if someone could suggest books, tips and strstegies for me to improve my total to 650...I have about 3 weeks time to prepare... Any suggestions will be helpful...

It's tough to answer your question without knowing what prep you have already done.
That being said, I think that the MGMAT guides are really good. I used their reading comp book and improved significantly my accuracy on the Reading Comp. Other than that I would recommend going through all the questions in the Official Guide 12. I did all the math questions and did some of them multiple times.
