I realize my overall score is fine, but my 99th percentile verbal helped immensely, despite my 61 percentile quant score.

Business schools value the quant score more; I am not shooting for a top school. In fact the school I will be applying at has an average GMAT score of 560. Should I be concerned about being denied due to low quant?

I really don't want to retake this beast.

Any opinions?

If you are this far ahead of the average score at the schools you are looking at, you are probably alright with the score you have now.

Yeah, if the school you're applying to has an average of 560, you're probably ok. But most higher-ranked schools like to see the 80/80 split.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to an informational session tonight & I will try to get an answer on this....I definitely should have scored higher on this section, but wasted too much time on a couple problems....I paid dearly at the end. If I do need to retake it, I will know better next time.
