DID YOU TAKE AN AUGUST 2003 GMAT?

please let us what type of experience you had - without reciting exact questions, what types of ?'s did you see - (ex. perm/comb, idioms, how many RC passages, types of geo., etc.)

Wanted to comment on the alleged change in quant section. A commonality among review materials (barrons, pr, kaplan) was that when you hit permutations and combs it means you are doing well. 
I expected to hit plenty of them based on my practice tests, but I choked on this gmat...600. i only hit upper 30's in quant. And I have to estimate that nearly half were data sufficiency. 
Also heavy on number theory. Light on work problems I thought. 

So, why are hard perm/comb question appearing an mediocre scoring test?

Carlos...I think Perm & Comb questions are being regarded as common and don't generate as much points as they would have last year. It's a shame ETS has to change standards this way, it puts all the review material to waste when such drastic changes are made.

You say you scored a upper 30's in Quant, probably means a not so great score in the verbal part, eh?

Anyways, are u planning to retake it anytime soon? What would your retaking strategy, concentrate more on quant? Improve verbal?
