Took the GMAT and scored a 680, 90% (Q45,77%, V38,85%). I felt both sections were pretty tough. I am pleased with my absolute quant score, but the percentile seems low. My verbal seems the exact opposite. Yet I still landed 90%tile overall. I am hoping to get into a top program. Should I retake the test? I felt my essays were great, so will this make up for a low individuals scores? Will schools care more about the indiv sections scores or the overall score? Just looking for some help to decide if I retake or not. $250 is no joke. Thanks peeps.

Hey dude, I'm in the same boat, but reverse (score wise). I got a 660, am applying to top schools, and am going to retake the GMAT (hesitantly). I easily got 96th percentile in verbal, but by math sucks. I got a 37 in this area. I'm more than happy to help you out in the verbal, which comes naturally to me, if you want to study for the quant together.
