Took the test today. Scored a 710 [Q 47, V 41, IR 3]. This was my first GMAT attempt. Though my IR is low but I don't think I'll go for the test again. I'm hoping that won't be an issue. It was all self study and tons of help from the GMATClub. I think I would have scored much lower if I hadn't checked out the 700 level questions here and the explanations by various members.

Hi skollya,
A 710/Q47 is an outstanding score (it's right around the 90th percentile overall), so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. Many Business Schools have publicly stated that they do not consider an Applicant's IR score as part of the application review process, so you shouldn't have any problems there.
When are you planning to apply to Business School?

I went for the GMAT because I want to get into a data analytics based program at one of the good universities i.e. Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA). My current selection of five schools includes the following:
1. National University of Singapore
2. Melbourne Business School
3. Michigan State University
4. The University of Texas at Austin
5. University of Cincinnati
I have 4 years of WE in the domain of business intelligence. How good are my chances? (I confess I am not extraordinary or a genius, but I work hard.)
