I just received my GMAT Score, 760 AWA is only 4.5. I am thinking about using the essay rescore service, as my target score is 5.0. Is rescoring a good idea?

Hi,
I can't tell you if rescoring is a good idea or not, but my friend was in the same boat. He scored 730 but 4.0 in the AWA. He rescored it but didn't see any difference.
I don't know how much rescoring costs, but it might be worthwhile if you're confident that you did better than 4.5.
