By no means do I recommend blowing it off - but you can certainly wing it to a certain extent and still come out with a 5.5-6.0 which is the top of the range.
However I am pretty sure unless you are a foreign applicant, most schools do not count your scores very heavily. But they will look to see that you scored in a competitive range if your application essays are truly superior.
It really isnt that hard, follow the Kaplan or PR templates, throw in some real world examples, and make sure if you were to write it in Microsoft word that no errors would be picked up by spell/grammar check. Thats pretty much the secret.
