I have been taking the MGMAT CATs for the last 3 weeks(1 test per week) and my average score is around 700.
Do any of you guys have feedback on the difficulty of the MGMAT test/scoring pattern and also how it correlates with the real GMAT.

Yeah, I took CAT 1 and got a 720. There's no way that is accurate. I asked an MGMAT instructor about it and was told the score could be ~30 points off, but that score is 160 points off my last official GMAT. Who knows.

I have the same question. I took the actual GMAT and got a 690. Since then I have been practicing with GMAT Club forum quesitons and Challenges, making a conscientious effort to improve my pacing, and going through the MGMAT CAT's. My scores on those have been 700-720. If my practice has paid off, then I would like to think that my score has gone up.

Can any avid MGMAT users shed any light on this?

All I can tell you is that MGMAT is standing behind their CAT scores. I've been studying quite a bit since my 2006 GMAT so hopefully they are right.

Take a look at my post a few threads down ( "770 my first try" - the forum won't let me post links yet). The MGMAT was very accurate for me. I was really doubting it as I didin't think I was capable of the scores it was telling me, but it lined up to my GMATPrep & GMAT results. IMO they are a great set of CATs and I recommend them to everyone.

The math is a little harder than the real test, but the score it spits out correlates to the GMAT well. The verbal is a little easier, but again it correlates to your GMAT score.
