I've been haunting these boards, and just took the GMAT this morning. I'm a bit disappointed with my results. I took the GMATPrep test off their official website and pinned a 700, but today got a 650 (39Q, 41V). I had 13 questions and 8 minutes left on the math ... had to do quite a bit of guesstimating.

Does anyone have any experience applying to Georgetown (or general experience with similar schools)? Does my quantitative score screw me?

I'd like to go to Georgetown, and if my scores don't preclude me from there than I'd just as soon not take that damned test again ...

That score is a little below the average for G-Town. If the rest of your app is great, then you should be alright. Since it was your first try, why not take it again? If you get a better score (690+), you'll really increase your odds IMO.

41V holy **** you are a superstar mate. Quant is the easiest to improve. Practice a little and get your quant up to 45 and a 700 score beckons..

I agree with bsd, quant is very easy to improve than verbal. With a 41V , you can deifintely get above 700 if you practice bit more quant and Truly understand the concepts.
