There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
How many months should I allot to preparing for the test? This may seem like a simple question, but I will be the first to admit that I'm the type of person who would study for years in a vain effort to get a perfect score on my first attempt. Also, does it make the most sense to study one book at a time, or is it the consensus that the test should be tackled one subject at time? I'm interested in reading your thoughts. Thanks,
Time is relative. If you have a strong background in Math and Verbal, you need a few weeks to study some features of GMAT. But if your background is weak and you would like to reach 750 level, years is appropriate period for studding... It makes the most sense to recognize your weak points and dedicate a lot of time to these points.
