Hi Guys, My D-day is closing by. 18th June to be precise. I am a bit uncertain whether to take a FULL LENGTH TEST on the last day of prep. I know it is inadvisable according to many (burn out etc etc) . However, i feel the risk of getting out of groove if I dont take a test on last day. Can some recent gmat takers share their experience in this regard? I would really appreciate.
Good luck buddy. I'd say do a full test on the 16th, not on the last day. Take it easy and let your mind replenish on th 17th. Also do some exercise so that you sleep well on the 17th.

You know your study habbits better than anyone else. Do what you think will give you the greatest amount of confidence going into the test. For me personally, taking a full length timed practice test the day before my real GMAT really calmed my nerves. Doing practice problems on the math and verbal forums and going over my idiom flash cards on test day also made me feel I was keeping concepts fresh in my mind.
