I just got my official score report and was disappointed to see that I only got a 4.0 on the AWA. If it were a 4.5 I would definitely let it stand, if it were a 3.5 I would definitely take it again. Leave it to me to make every decision a tough one.

I was wondering how much a 4.0 would hurt me with a 750 GMAT score. I'm looking to apply to Columbia, Kellogg, and Stanford and was wondering if it would be worth taking the test again.

I know I can get a better AWA score (I got a 5 and a 5.75 on graded practice essays), but I can't be sure of another 750.

Any advice would be appreciated.
