Hi all Just took my first Kaplan test ( it wasn't cat exam ,it was paper based . I got 400 in it ,I took it with without any prep to see what kinds of questions I can Expect . From here what books should I used to prepare for quant and verbal . If I want to take a prep course ( which is better Kaplan ,PReview or MGmat in terms of covering the basics ) My target score is atleast 650 and above .
It depends. What are your weaknesses? When do you plan on taking the GMAT? Do you have enough motivation to self-study? If so, a prep course is not necessary.
I searched didn't see that many reviews of Kaplan or PR. Should I take another practice test to see where do I stand as 400 is quite low score , it looks like I need to do a lot of work to do
Is it better to take a prep course then self study ??
