I really need some good advice from people who didn't score well on the gmat and kept going until that they have beaten this beast.

I will be very honest because No matter what happen I will Beat this Beast.

First time took the gmat without any prep. I scored 270.

Second time after studying with tutor and spending long hours I scored 310 but this time Test totally felt different then the pratice tests. I was getting score between 470- 500 on my preps.

Please advice what should be my game plan from here. I am not a native English speaker and Verbal is my big problem.

MGMAT has very good books for both verbal and quant. I bought their SC, and number properties guides...if you buy any of their books, you also get access to 6 online tests...although the quant questions are not representative of the actual GMAT questions, i felt that doing their 6 tests was a lot of help...
practice...practice...practice....

I agree with cozmo. MGMAT books are really good. Use also spidey gmat notes and gyatharri notes. You will find them on this site. For critical reasoning use Powerscore Critical reasoning bible. And use informations from the site. Good luck.

I have the same problem as you have, and I'm also not a native english speaker. The only thing I can recommend to you is the OG 11, 1000 Series questions that you can find here in this forum. There are also many great 700+ experiences that you can read and follow up on them. Personally, I read almost all their advices and made my own plan based on good advices. I think everybody should have his/her personal plan or approach. In the end of the day, one thing that can make your score higher is 'Practice'!

So practice, practice and practice!!!

My advice is to keep persevering. Don't give up until you reach your goal.
My goal was to get to 500. I got 400 the first time and I was devastated.
I just wanted to let people know that if you spend the time, 10hrs a week for
3 months, chances are you will get at least 500. I got 650 the second time,
which is more than I wanted.

Keep striving and don't quit. Study smarter and don't let go of your goal!
