BB, moderators, all chime in if you can,
I took two GMAT Preps last week and scored a 680 - Q49 V34 - twice. I was stoked about the Q - not so much about the V! Last fall I scored a Q39 V41. I have two questions. I have been really cranking on the Q, as you can tell, but how do I keep my verbal score up as well? Does anyone have any study recommendations? My other question is, I take my test next Tuesday (August 25th) - do I take the test or cancel (I would have to re-schedule tomorrow). Can I get my V back up in a week? I am not in a hurry, but I do want to get this test behind me. Any suggestions? I would love to mix both scores Q49 V41......moving forward. Do multiple tests hurt me - this is only the second time i have taken the test.....

I am not an expert, but here are some of my thoughts.
-I've heard of a phenomena where people improve greatly one section while the other becomes worse
-a week is not a lot. Keep in mind that you in last two days you should not spend studying but reviewing your error log.
-finally, taking a test is not actually that bad. Who know maybe you get lucky with questions (I know some people have)
It is all up to you to see what's best for you

you are 2 points from 41 in verbal, i dont have much idea but you seem to be really close to your aim.
