Can someone please help me figure out what went wrong? I've been studying for the GMAT for 2 months and have been taking practice tests about once a week. I'm using Kaplan premier practice tests and Manhattan GMAT. My scores
Kaplan- 600
560
-570
Manhattan- 620
I took a practice test with GMAT prep and scored 540. I couldn't believe it I got 16 incorrect on the Q and 13 incorrect on V and still managed only a 540. I'm supposed to take the test a month from yesterday. Any suggestions I need 650+

have you analyzed your mistakes? do you have trouble with timing? what are your strongest and weakest areas? do you use an error log?

My strongest areas are the Verbal. I haven't been using an error log...thanks for sending it. My timing is perfect I finish with about 10-30 seconds left in each section. I need to use an error log. My problem area is in math PS

PS
These areas are giving me the most trouble
Applied Algebra problems

Combinatrics/ Probability

what I find useful is to keep track of the questions you get wrong, adding take aways, traps or openers/patterns to them. Do so and I'm sure that your score will improve.

Thanks I'm going over the math now and realize I was making silly mistakes.

My breakdown was Q30 V34. I just took a kaplan test and got Q40, so I think I just need to review mistakes and lookout for traps. My verbal score is staying the same- I haven't been studying verbal- I score 34 with each practice test. I want to get it to 40+ any suggestions?

RC is giving me a hard time for stamina reasons
CR for the same reason
SC- I just need to go over grammar rules- any suggestions?
