I have taken few CAT test and scoring 40% in Quant and 50% correct in Verb, and overall score is 550...DS questions mostly getting them wrong...

Appreciate any suggestion on how to improve from 550 to 650..or any specific areas to be focused on... Appreciate your response.

Can you tell us the amount of questions you got correct?

such as V40, Quant 30?

you probably need a complete overhaul to get up to your desired score - so back to basics on everything and I guess moreso on DS. You need Official guide, MGMAT books if you dont have them already. They help a lot on the basics and most people here uses them. Make an error log to track what type of questions you get wrong. To get to 650 you are looking at both scores in the mid to high 30s OR a lopsided ~50 and a ~30 score. Suggested study time is 3 months but it is doable in a month - all dependent on how much information you absorb.

Thanks for the info..

Yeah..I got around 50% correct in Verbal and 40% correct in Quand.

'i would like to know the areas or topics need to focus more, so that I can pass 600....
