1st Attempt: Q-29 V-30 (500)
2nd Attempt: Q-34 V-38 (600)
I will keep this very short. What killed me was test anxiety on the first one on top of almost no prep. I passionately hath math and anything to do with it.
2nd attempt: not a very serious dedication. Just did a little bit of more math practice, no practice on verbal at all. I was scoring Quant 40-44 on GMATPrep.
My observation: I found quant to be harder on the actual test than on GMATPrep. I had not seen the type of questions (concept-wise) on GMATPrep at Quant 44-level that I saw on the actual GMAT on which I got only 34 on Quant.
I am okay though because the school I am going to is fine with 600.

Yeah, from what I've heard, you're absolutely right: the GMAT is getting harder -- especially in quant.
