There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
the most accurate predictor of your performance would be the GMATprep and in my opinion the MGMATprep CAT's. Kaplan's GMAT are naturally harder because they have to "guarantee" that you will score higher on the actual otherwise they lose money.
yeah unfortunately the GMATprep sometimes repeat their questions. As stated, MGMAT CAT is probably the best (and closest) to what the real GMAT looks like. I heard its verbal section is extremely similar. I don't really trust too much of Kaplan. Their questions are too much into being tricky and sneaky for my liking....
