Idea was to minimize variables in the process of
admission. Lets assume I want to major in finance
with specialization in M&A. When i apply to ultra
elite schools (harvard, stanford, kelloggs, columbia
etc), I might get rejected from school in case they
do not specialize in that domain...
So i was just wondering which school specializes
into which domain? for e.g. there is a feeling that
Kelloggs is good at marketing (why, because of
Philip Kotler), Harvard is good at general
management etc... If you have information on these
lines and can share then it would be great.
Having said that, IMHO the traits that you have
identified (able to communicate well, able to
complete quant coursework etc) are very generic...
