I have a BS degree from a US school, but I took the TOEFL to gauge my current language skills and to prove to the adcom that I have what it takes in terms of communication capabilities. I'm not happy with my listening score (26), and I'm concerned it might give a negative indication to the adcom. How will it affect my profile? Should I retake the test?

I don't know what went wrong but that doesn't matter, and I have no problem retaking the test but I would rather spend more time and effort on my GMAT prep.

Hi cutepathogen ,

Congratulations for a great TOEFL Score.

I think Adcom will never look at your listening score. They will get impressed the moment they see your overall score.

So, no need to giving exam again.
