Is anyone still waitlisted at NYU? I am. :cry:

I applied for the PT weekend only program . 
I am still waiting for a decision.

they said that I should hear back by the end of this week.

I don't understand this .. 
 
How can they put some applicants in waitlist. and not even process a few applications.

My status check says your file is under review by the admissions comittee and it has been saying this for more than 10 weeks.

Is it because I applied to the Weekend only option. That was my only priority . Does the admissions comitte process them seperately ...

I'm on the weekend program too...

I guess it's just the procedure, sometimes quite annoying. The deadline for course registration and tuition payment is August 7th. There is still time. Waiting for your good news.

August 7th... Wow that is in 10 days.. 

I really don't know what to do.. i have tried calling the admissions office 
and all they say is that check your online stauts. 

I am really getting anxious.

I sent out the application on May 9 and got the news on June 22. 

Well, if they say the end of the week, then it'd better be it. 

And you can let me know later if you need help, (like what needs to be done.) once you hear from them...

 I checked the stern academic calendar 
 https://calendar.stern.nyu.edu/allmba/index.html  just now.. 

Looks like they must have given you the full time deadline .. as you got notified earlier. The website claims August 15 as the last date for registeration.. So I guess that gives me a little more time. 

Although the minute I hear from them I will be ready to register.

Hi sperumba,

Did you get admitted to NYU Stern? I'm planning to apply for the Winter or Fall'07 and wanted to know where if my score (680) is competitive.

Any information about your Stern experience would be greatly appreciated.

No pappu I did not get admitted into stern. I thought I had written veey good essays and was very confident of getting admitted. 

But for some reason my application was sent to the incomplete pool as my undergaduate diploma was missing in it. 

Inspite of me faxing it in, I was denied admission. Anyways I guess things happen for a reason. I would have killed myself going back and forth to NY from Boston every weekend.

I am now attending the Part-time program at Boston College and I love it so far. The student profile is very similar to what I had expected it to be and the coureses that I am taking this semester are awesome. 

things have been really busy at work and at shcool that is whyI could not reply to you posting on time.
