My second attempt was a disaster, though i was in a better frame of mind and better prepared than the first time. I scored 660 the first time.
Anyways I would like to just let you all know that I have immensely benifited from this group and thanks to everybody who contributed their time and efforts to make this special place happen.
GMAT :-
[I will focus mostly on my second attempt ]
-The verbal section was real tough
-I had quiet a few 'Which of the following logically follows the argument/statement made above' CRs
-3 40 lines RCs and one with 80 lines
-I had 2 RCs one after the other
-SC's were really confusing and long
-Math was easy compared to my prev attempt
-Couple of crazy combination problems
-3 successive Average/median problem
-atleast 4-5 CRs were bold faced
I wonder with a 660, and being a Indian IT professional[8 yrs exp] makes me a strong contender for CMU-Tepper or anyother school ranked in 10-16s.

Can you tell more about other aspects of your profile which will make you stand out?
to be very honest, indian IT professional, there are a lot. and GMAT 660 (or 650) is just better than average. you may need other aspects such as NGO experience, sport, etc (and very outstanding performance on those) to make you really stand out if you are to sign up for top ranking schools.
