I gave GMAT last week. I have indian engg backgroud. First time i checked the gmat was in july. in sept i started preparing. after some prep i gave PP1 exam and got 520. was pretty depressed. quant was ok but verbal was very bad. i prepared for another month and then again gave PP2 and again got a shockingly low 540. I was using OG, Kaplan, and princeton primarily till that time. I tried giving kaplan and princeton tests too but highest i got was 590 with all my tries. needless to say i was pretty depressed. Then i searched on the net and found this course called
Manhattan GMAT and got its material. that made all the difference. stuff in it is very well organized. i reviewed it's stuff for a month and gave the actual test last week and scored 700. I think
manhattan gmat has prob one of the best material available for GMAT. it helped me a lot. I had very limited time, full time job and family responsibilities. I am convinced that if I prepare for another month using
Manhattan GMAT material and OG (
manhattan GMAT stuff uses OG as examples to explain its concepts) I can score around 750. I don't have time cause second round deadlines are pretty close for most schools. Further i have over 8 yr exp. so even with 700 my app has a fighing chance (atleast i think).
Now i am planning on selling that material. if anyone interested please contact me at
