hey guys,
A little background. I don't have a strong background in math, at all, but I work in a very math centric field (institutional finance). I ama CFA Level 3 Candidate, and I studied 1.5 months for my first attempt (today).
I did the two GMATPrep tests (420 on th first, and 640 on the second 36Q 40V). I read
MGMAT number properties, word translations, geomtery, Kaplan Premier, and did 600 of the OG 12 practice questions using the
error log (75% over all three difficulty levels). I looked at all the questions I got wrong. Didn't read anything for verbal.
My first attempt at the real thing this morning was a brutal failure...540 ( 29Q 35V)
My goal is at least a 650, and I KNOW that I can get it if I can make a plan to raise my quant.
Can someone offer advice on bringing my quant score up? I need to re-write in 31 days to make sure I make the application deadline in time for my top school (the rest of my application is solid).
I work days, but can put in 3 hours every night and at least 5 hours each day on weekends...
Any help is VERY much appreciated. Thanks guys!
