I think a re-take is in order. Based off your practice tests, you should score much higher than 590. Good luck in studying and the re-take!

I am in the same situation. In GMAT Practice - I got 640, today I got 560!!!! I was sure I was doing very well, my Quantitative was 40, but my Verbal was only 26!!!!!!!! I am actually not bad in Verbal!!!!! I feel miserable. I will not retake it, I simply will apply to other Uni now. So much time for preparation thrown out!!!!! One of the worst days of my life!!!!! :((((((((((( I am asking myself whether I am stupid..... Sorry for too much words, but I am completely down:(
