Gave my GMAT yesterday after 2 months of diligent prep and saw a score of 680 q50v32! I absolutely blew off my verbal

I've been consistently scoring between 730-780 in the CATs and GMATPrep and the actual exam came as a huge shock to me. I am targeting the top 10 schools and I think this score is nowhere close to even indicate that I should apply. I will retake again and that means postponing my mba applications by another year

That will make my work ex 5 years next year.
I have exhausted all
MGMAT and GMATPrep and OG questions. I think I will need to study more and then retake, I'm planning in Feb again. Does one hamper his/her chances by a retake? Not that I have a choice anyway

I'm frantically looking what went wrong and yet I have no clue

Does anyone have any recommendations to improve the verbal score? Any courses to suggest? Knewton? GMATPill?
Thanks vm
