Hi guys

thanks for your replies. I am totally devastated right now. Iam not sure how the adcom will see when I take the test 4-5 times.

Actually in my mocktests I did not do any AWA. Furthermore I saw some repetion clearly. But I think my main problem is that I am always a little bit anxious when sitting in front of the real gmat.
I think iam capable of doing the 700 but acutally I will be pleases when I get a 650 :-(

The Adcom will care more about your low test score then taking 4-5 times with a 650+ finish. So since you've said you've not taken AWA and you've seen repeat questions you need to wash away your ideas of those previous test scores. They truly mean NOTHING, b/c there is no way to tell what you should really be scoring. I would recommend that you continue your studying, but in a fashion that I've outlined in my post: 10-tips-to-improve-your-score-app-with-no-extra-studying-124393-20.html Seriously, read it. This will help you deal with your test day anxiety and test day stamina. Also, find new practice tests, try to simulate your test day environment and conditions. The only way to help with test day anxiety, is to make test day feel like second nature. Do all your studying and test taking under the test day environment conditions. Just remember, there are many people taking this test that are able to overcome these feelings, and many have to work very hard to do it. Evaluate the way your are studying, and build this into it. With work and effort, not only can you learn the topics, but also beat the mental aspects of this challenging test. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

Demotivating - Strong word... and Im sure applicable. Take a few weeks off (if you can afford it). Ensure that you want to do this. Then sit down and study right, practice right and you will score accordingly.

Remember the GMAT is not a measure of intelligence.

Last, Adcoms have always said we only check your highest score. They dont care how long it will take you to get there. If anything it shows perseverance and motivation.

best of luck!
