Hi,
I need advice. I took the gmat in August and scored a 610. My quant was abysmally low (38%). I retook yesterday and scored a 640 (57%Q/80%V). My goal is 700+, but this second failure has really hit hard. I spent a lot of time preparing and my practice scores on gmatprep last week were 680 & 700.
I'm 28 and I'll be 29 in April.
Should I spend another 2-3 months and gear up for round 1 of the application cycle in the Fall? Without at least a 690, I think it's pointless to apply for R3 now. My target school is Insead.
I am having trouble diagnosing my problem with quant. In retrospect, I feel like I am doing a lot of practice problems, but not retaining the information.
How valuable would a tutor be?
I have been using the Manhattan Quant Strategy books, 800score, and OG 12.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
