Hi
Today, I am feeling lucky and happy. This is my story. I am from California. So my focus was only on California schools. Here is how i started:
1st GMAT in January: Scored 610. I was devastated and did not know what to do at that time. Pulled myself and started preparing for GMAT again. At the same time, I was also aware that my chances of getting into any good school are getting dimmer as I will be applying for only leftover round i.e ROUND 3.
2nd GMAT in March: Scored 570. I was in total shock. it was march already and i havent even started any essays yet and here i am further down in the hole. At that time, I made my mind that i need to work on my other aspects of application and gear up for stellar essays. At the same time, I started getting in touch admission committe of the schools i wanted to apply.
FINAL: Out of 4 schools i applied, I have got admit from 3 already. My focus on essays and further putting deep research into interviews helped me. Today I am feeling relieved and proud. So all my brothers and sisters out there, GMAT IS NOT THE END. Stay focused. If you can improve your gmat then do it but dont screw it further like me. At the same time, dont listen to anybody who tells you cant make it.
