Well I must admit my score will not be as great as some of you guys, but I can say since taking the test on June 12 and scoring a 390. OG has help me push my score around 500. (480 Princeton Review 29Q 28V yesterday) I still have two weeks to go. My goal is a 600 or better. I am going through the verbal questions on this website and they are helping. I really feel like on test day I will do a lot better in verbal since the first time I took the test I scored a 30 on the verbal part. My goal is push my verbal to 38-39 and push my math to around 35(Real GMAT on 06-12-03 scored 8 on math OUCH) So for people out there like me not trying for the Wharton's Sloan's, and Stanford keep trying and study hard I know I will be. Every great business mind out here today did not go to a top ten school. Just keeping it real.

Ya, if you look at the most successful people in business, most of them did not go to a top 10 school...many did not even earn MBAs...it's all about making your own luck and creating chances. It looks like you have an awesome work ethic, which will no doubt serve you well no matter what happens regarding school.

That's true for some people/jobs, but I have been working on one project for my internship - which got down to basically funding a company, so I have looked through about 50 VC firms and thier portfolios and staff. I was curious to look through the partner profiles and about 80% of them had Stanford MBA's. Very few did not have a Master's. So it depends on the field and the job itself. Most of the entrepreauneurs obviously did not receive an MBA - they don't see the point about it, but the guys who occupy Morgan Stanley floors and those of Investment Banks had to, just to get the job.

P.S. I don't try to imply that the VC firms were the most successful/tallented/smart business organizations.
