Hi all,
I am going thorugh the procees of preparing myself for my 2nd GMAT. Although i thought i was well prepared the first time, i only scored 600 (46Q,27V, 5.5 AWA).
When i got the score I was devastated. 2 days before i had the princeton review (on the web) and got a shiny 700. i also had 690 in the PowerPrep and got 92% doing an old pen and paper GMAT test in the test prep center i attended (GMAX).
I was (actually still am) quite sure about my verbal skills in the sentence correction but i feel i need to test new questions all the time. i guess my achiles heel is in the reading comprehension (mostly because i am not an english mother tongue).
I am now preparing myself again, and i got some new books - kaplan verbal and kaplan 800. i must say that i didnt get much new info from both of them and they were mainly for getting new questions.
I do want to raise several new questions:
1. Any new good material you know about? (i did the entire OG, but i may do it again the way things are going... I also did an old GRE book for the critical reasoning questions)
2. What do you say about Peterson's Ultimate GMAT Tool Kit 2005? has any one of you used it or treid it beofore? i know that thomsons is the company that runs the GMAT spiel , so maybe their books are the closest to the real test?
3. Has any one used the Peterson's GMAT Online Practice Tests? ill be glad to here about your expereince.
Hmmm, thats all for now. i will be more than pleased to get as much info from you guys as possible. i have been a silent reader of this forum and this entire community is doing a great job.
Thanks!
